What is the difference between Class 4 Restricted (R) and Unrestricted (U)?
Class 4 Restricted – Vehicle seats up to 10 passengers (including driver) - Taxi, Uber, Ambulance, etc.
Class 4 Unrestricted – Vehicle seats up to 25 passengers (including driver) - Shuttle Bus, School Van, etc.

Cody Martin
As a former ICBC Driver Examiner who tested Class 4 restricted and unrestricted licensee candidates, Cody has the experience you need to maximize your training and preparation for the ICBC Class 4 Road Test.
With over 20 years of Class 1 driving experience, Cody has the knowledge and knowhow to teach you a proper and complete pre-trip and how to drive a commercial vehicle.
Growing up in the East Kootenays, he knows the challenges that face everyday drivers in this area. With this knowledge, he will teach you how to become a confident commercial driver.
