Smart Drivers of Canada is proud to work in partnership with DriveWise BC to offer their GLP (Graduated Licensing Program) Course to the East Kootenays.
DriveWise BC is one of the most established and largest driving schools in the province. We work closely as a team to offer our East Kootenay area students everything that they require to earn 2 high school credits and reduce the "N" phase of your license by 6 months.
Online classroom theory and E-learning modules are provided by DriveWise BC while your in-car driving lessons are provided by Smart Drivers of Canada.

of Canada in the East Kootenay area, bringing the DriveWise BC GLP program to more new drivers across British Columbia. This is one of the most modern forms of driver education in BC and, through our Zoom-based classroom program, it allows us to partner with vetted driving schools like Smart Drivers of Canada to expand accessibility into smaller and remote communities where driver training can often be a barrier.
The ICBC Approved DriveWise course gives new drivers the opportunity to earn 2 high school credits, obtain their Class 5 licence 6 months sooner, achieve a higher first road test pass rate, and help reduce crash risk through proper education and training. As DriveWise BC-trained instructors, Cody and Laura are going to be a tremendous asset to this program and the East Kootenay community.

Essential Packages are built for drivers with semi-regular access to driving practice support with a co-driver. The DriveWise BC GLP program is approved by ICBC.

Elite Packages are for new drivers with less time to practice at home or limited access to a vehicle. The DriveWise BC GLP program is approved by ICBC.

Our Road Test Rental Package is specifically designed to give you the competitive edge. Using the SDC vehicle for your road test allows you to maximize confidence by driving the vehicle you have been training in for your DriveWise BC GLP Package.
Your Road Test Rental Package Includes:

Pre-Test Warm-Up: A final 45-minute practice run right before your exam.

Vehicle Rental: Use of a certified Smart Drivers of Canada vehicle for your official test. *Conditions apply.

Pick-up and Drop-Off: within 5 driving minutes of downtown in Cranbrook, Fernie, or Invermere. This includes all relevant schools.
Road Test Rental must be booked separately with Smart Drivers of Canada. *See Terms & Conditions.
Terms & Conditions
All Smart Drivers of Canada Students must sign and agree to the Terms and Conditions Agreement during registration. This document is available HERE. Included in the Terms and Condition Agreement are the Smart Drivers of Canada Late, Cancellation, Re-Scheduling, Refund, and No-Show Policies as well as other general Terms and Conditions.
